Details

hi. I can successfully highlight stuff and paste it into the URL field or into a form field from a local window, but can't seem to do it from a xterm on a remote machine. My workaround at the moment is to paste it into a gnome-terminal (local), re-highlight it, and then paste it into mozilla...
I can't imagine how this is a Mozilla bug, but it might be a clipboard-translation issue. What is the xterm on the other machine (gnome-terminal? rxvt? XFree xterm?) and what version? Also, most importantly, what build of Mozilla are you seeing this with? Reassigning to Pavlov, because he digs this stuff.

The same issue is the topic of bug 55312 and bug 51929. Marking dup of 55312 since that is the general issue bug. (51929 mentions a specific app "ndsd" irix/linux) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55312 ***
