this says:
username = EMAILADDRESS (not EMAILLOCALPART)
IMAP: imap.skynet.be, port 143

tests:
relay.skynet.be allows SMTP via STARTTLS, on port 587, but not SSL port 465
smtp.skynet.be also works, but cert is relay.skynet.be
imap. allows SSL on port 993, but not STARTTLS. cert is imap.skynet.be.
pop. allows neither STARTTLS nor SSL port 995
pop. allows APOP (encrypted password, IMAP only unencrypted passwords
