Summary: [config] Add ovh.net (Belgium) → [config] Add ovh.net (France)
ovh.net is a hoster and one of our top5 missing domains.
So they offer Pop on 110 Imap on 143 Or 993 with SSL SMTP on 587 and 465 with SSL says the page issue will be to map domains to ovh - like we did for google hosted domains as you can use either ns0.ovh.net or your own domain aliases. Ben what's the way to proceed for that ?
> issue will be to map domains to ovh No problem at all, we already do that via DNS MX, and we already get the hits on the ISPDB for "ovh.net", so we just need the correct config (and a test account).
SSL works for all protocols, on ns0.ovh.net. STARTTLS doesn't work for any protocol. Docs say full email address as username for SMTP. No mention of username for POP3/IMAP, I'll assume the same, but we'll need to test or verify. Ludo, can you get a test account from them? (Just call them.)

Try the "new customer" hotline, or press hotline, or postmaster. Say you call from Thunderbird. Got me through most of the time.
WHOIS says technical contact is: Klaba Octave +33.899701761
Comment on attachment 459378 [details] ovh.net config, v1 Looks good to me.

Comment on attachment 459378 [details] ovh.net config, v1 Created imap account with the test account provided by ovh. This doesn't do the nslooklup (ie with the local file) so I HAD to name the file by the domain and not ovh.net.xml.

Thanks, tsk, for the test account and giving me the credentials. That was useful. I noticed that I get a cert error, because the cert is for ssl0.ovh.net, not ns0.ovh.net, so I changed the hostname to that. Now, the cert error is gone. Will attach new config.

Comment on attachment 459788 [details] ovh.net config, v2 I wonder what will happen if the ISP changes those to be two separate boxes, so perhaps we should contact them, but I think this is an improvement, so I'll give it the r+.
