Hi! We have completed the Firefox localization (Bug #469308).
I want to officially register a Asturian Thunderbird localization (ast
code "ISO 639-2").
Thanks very much!
Hi! Please, If It could be possible, we prefer the Fennec localization before Thunderbird:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=596622
Best regards.

After a kind discussion, Marquinos and me are going to priorize Thunderbird
Yes, I'm agree, we preffer Thunderbird.
Thanks in advance!

Hi marquinos, ivarela,

Thanks for your interest in localising Thunderbird.

What we'll need to start off with is a source zip file for ast for Thunderbird. I would recommend that this is based on the current comm-aurora files.

Once you've attached the source zip file, I can review it, and then we can land it into the mercurial repository. At the time of landing we'll also set up your nightly builds, and we'll get sorted out the other things we need for getting you to be a full Thunderbird localisation.

Be aware that I'm afk next week due to holiday, so I may be unresponsive for a bit.
The repositories relating to building Thunderbird for aurora are:

http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-aurora/
and
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-aurora/
Hi Mark

Here's the zip file for 'ast' for Thunderbird. I hope it may help..

marquinos has left the project, so you can email to me and Borja Cayado <borcayven AT gmail dot com> (in CC)

Excellent, thanks for that. I'll take a look before the weekend.
Ping! ;)

Just a reminder... I really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

zip file for ast for Thunderbird

Thanks for doing this. Sorry it has taken me a long time to get to look at it.

There's a minor couple of issues:

In activity.dtd, you've got:

<!ENTITY cmd.cancel.accesskey "n">-------------

and in am-copies.dtd:

<!ENTITY bccAddress.accesskey "t"> ---------------------------------

The dashes need removing before you land this.

You are also missing localisation of the editor/ and other-licenses/ directories. Please can you translate those and attach in a zip file for me to look at?

In the meantime, I don't mind if you land this mail/ part into the ast repository for aurora.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thanks I've fixed both mistakes and I've uploaded to http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-aurora/ast

I'm translating editor and other-licenses folders. I think they can be ready today (Borja Cayado (see comment #7) is helping me in translations. I'll attach you here.

Depends on: 700627
I'll be adding ast to the automation later today (bug 700627) following the merges - this will get you set up on the Earlybird/Aurora branch.

We'll then look at starting to get the initial part of the website up and running (so the redirects work).

Once you've had a cycle on aurora, we'll move you across to beta if everything is looking good.
You are now present on the L10n dashboard.

You can find your sign-off at:

https://l10n-stage-sj.mozilla.org/shipping/dashboard?locale=ast

Look for "tb_aurora".

There are missing strings, because we've just done the merges from central to aurora etc.

Nightly builds will start coming in the next day or so - we've currently hit a minor issue that I hope will be resolved later today - once that is fixed, you'll get updates automatically.

Once you've done this cycle on aurora, we'll look to get you onto beta. We'll fix your web pages for now so that you don't get 404s within the product (note the earlybird in-product pages are en-US only), and then as we get towards beta we'll get the website pages up and ready.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I've just double-checked and builds for all ast platforms are now available from here:

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-earlybird-l10n/

They should get nightly updates as well.
