Yesterday was the day I first obtained the new version of Minefield, because I was eager to test out TabCandy. I installed it when it loaded there were some toolbar graphical errors that covered most areas above the tabs with a black bar, so that I couldn't click on half the buttons or minimize. I did View > Toolbars and messed around with turning some on and off until the bar disappeared and all was well.

This morning there was an update popup halfway through the day, and I was busy so I didn't say yes at first, and kept minimized or hidden. Later in the day I said okay, and then I waited maybe another hour to say "Yes, restart now" when I had clicked the restart button, Minefield was currently at the TabCandy desktop screen with all the groups displayed) and after it restarted, it displayed all of my tabs (maybe 30?) out in one horizontal row like Firefox normally does, and the TabCandy button that looks a little like a Super Mario Bros brick is nowhere to be seen. I messed around with turning some toolbars on and off again, but with no luck.

Is there any way to undo the recent upgrade? Or can I uninstall and reinstall the original install file I got from your site? I was really really enjoying TabCandy! :(

see "details" above. I'm going to label this as a "critical" bug, since I didn't lose any tab data, but it appears that all of my groups were lost.

It's at the very least a "major" bug, since TabCandy is the only reason many of us signed up for this alpha version, and now it has seemingly disappeared. Is there a hotkey for the TabCandy screen? So that I can bypass the absence of the button and recreate all of my groups.

Anyways, TabCandy is joyous, and keep up the good work!

Mass moving all Tab Candy bugs from Mozilla Labs to Firefox::Tab Candy.  Filter the bugmail spam with "tabcandymassmove".
