User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; ru; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 GTB7.1 Build Identifier: Thunderbird behaves unpredictably when displaying some letters. I have seen two such cases. For the first time the Thunderbird did not show the correct letter to the mime format, showed it "as is" (completely analogous to viewing the source code by pressing CTRL-U). The second time, the Thunderbird combines two letters into one. Oops... While writing this issue, I wanted to make a screenshot of the letter described the first case, but the letter was shown correctly! Probably, we should say that at the moment when this letter is not displayed correctly, it was the last (most recent) in my mailbox. Unfortunately, Bugzilla unable to attach files, so I did and posted on the Internet the screenshots with my problems. See: http://sites.google.com/site/snvakulafiles/misc/Case1-Normal_view.png http://sites.google.com/site/snvakulafiles/misc/Case1-Source_view.png http://sites.google.com/site/snvakulafiles/misc/Case2-Normal_view.png http://sites.google.com/site/snvakulafiles/misc/Case2-Source_view.png P.S. The same version of the Thunderbird/Fedora13 are everythings fine! Reproducible: Sometimes Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Lightning/1.0b2 Thunderbird/3.1.1
Version: unspecified → 3.1
Sergey, can you be more specific about issue, I don't seems understand what issue here by watching your png files.
At Case1: everythings became fine (see my prev post) At Case2: look at the line contains "You reported the bug". That is the last line of the letter. Next line contains "Delivered-To: snvakula@gmail.com" are the first line from another (next) letter. Two letters has been merged to one. On the other computer running Fedora13 with absolute copy of the settings and message bases are no the same problems anywhere.
This may cause because of corruption. Try repair folder by selecting properties and press Repair folder button
After repairing all messages were displayed correctly. Is it trivial? And why my message base (folder) was dumped? My Hard disk haven't any bad blocks or problems.
Can't say for sure but for rare occasions mbox get's corrupted
