When organizing bookmarks and you click on a bookmark, under the hood, the website associated with the bookmark is visited.

If the requested page changes some session variable, this has an unwanted side effect if you have the website associated with the bookmark open in one or more tabs: the session has changed (obviously).

The session change could be intentional, but I did not expect this. Organizing bookmarks should have no effect on open tabs.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bookmark website that changes some session variable
2. Open same website in one or more tabs
3. Organize Bookmarks, click on the bookmark

Actual Results:  
If website associated with bookmarks sets some session variable, this is reflected in the open tab(s).

Expected Results:  
Did not expect the browser session to change when organizing bookmarks or browsing through them.


If you keep them private, I can send two URL's that demonstrate the behavior.

Wontfixing all Microsummaries bugs, since the feature has been removed from the core product and previous versions won't get further fixes for it.
If interested in supporting Microsummaries in your add-on, you're free to use our old microsummaries code and to search all previously open bugs by looking for [microsummaries-feature-removal] in the status whiteboard field.
