you will find the text for the iPhone App Store description for Firefox Home.  Please translate this file and attach it to this bug as a text file.  You can attach that file as a plain text document.

The description will eventually be uploaded to a site like this:

You can see from the file that it references some U.S. based articles that gave positive reviews of Firefox Home.  Feel free to quote a local news source, if you saw a positive article.  Before you do that, please ping us with the quote in this bug so we can confirm it with you.  If you don't have any local news articles to quote, either translate the ones in this article or you can ask us to research for you.  We may be able to reach out to a PR agency to help.

Because it is Apple, we do not have a staging server where we can test this.  And, we cannot easily provide any localized screen shots.

I made a quick search on Internet: the links I found, from known and less known sites, are merely informative, neither positive, nor negative, so they don't fit the purpose here.

We might have to localize the US articles.

The localization of the file will be ready by this evening (CET).

I don't think you will need to localize the entire U.S. article, just the snippet, as you have done in the file.  I can't think of a way that we'd actually be able to localize the article that the bit.ly link points to.

The Marketing team updated the copy of the App Store Description to reflect what is new in this release.  You can see the differences here:

Please make the necessary translation updates to your file, reattach to this bug, and close when it is fixed.  

We are submitting the app for review tomorrow, August 24, 2010.  Last time, for a minor update to Firefox Home, it took Apple ~7 days to approve and release the app after we submitted.  We would like to have this copy translated as soon as possible so we have it ready for the forthcoming release.  If you're looking for a guess on timing, I would say it is 5 minutes of effort and we'd love to have it now.

For Firefox Home 1.0.3, we will need to update the strings in the Apple App Store.  For this release, and to be used for releases in the future, we will need the following translated:
