The ctrl-f message filter used to allow to specify, that filter categories  does , i.e., to/from/bcc/cc any<u>more</u>.
To me this was a major gift (Of couse, I could use Shift/Ctrl/f but wihtout comfort, i.e. incremental search, tag-display, editability, etc.pp.).
Can we reactivate it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.ctrl/f
2.Enter Search-Word
3.Right-clik the Search-Word-field.
Actual Results:  
Just the tiny Cut/Paste/copy/undo/select-all context-menu appears.

Expected Results:  
A contextmenu allowing to specify the filter categories  does , i.e., e.g., to/from/bcc/cc.

If you start typing into the Quick Filter box, you should see the selectors (Sender, Recipients, Subject, Body) showing up. Those have replaced the menu.

It does no longer allow to distinguish between To and Cc addresses for the recipient, that's correct.

I'm not sure it ever did, latest version of TB 2.0.0.24 (20100228) just has the combined "Recipient (To or CC)"

Michael, you now define filter criteria AFTER typing the filter words (but they will stick for subsequent searches until you change them again).
Available criteria:

Sender: From (rare Sender: header is not found)
Recipients: To or CC (BCC is not found, bug 586101)
Subject: Subject
Body: Message body text (without attachments afasik)

I don't think reporter wants anything more/other than that.
Falls doch, feel free to reopen.
