This would be a nice option, to be able to add a name of a new group in the Menu bar. Since you can "Create a Group", should be also great to add the name of the group right there.

Right now i would have to Create the group with the menu option, then open tabcandy, find the group that was just created, then finally label it there. That takes like 4 steps.

Repro:
1) install nightly Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b4pre)
Gecko/20100815 Minefield/4.0b4pre
2) open a set of new tabs with sites
3) Context click one of your open tabs, "Move this Tab to..." > "Create new Group"
4) Verify the tab dissapears. Then open tabcandy, and look for your Tab and group you created. Once you find it, then click the Edit title button, and add your group title
5) Step 4 would be great if you could add the title of the New group directly in context-click. That would eliminate like 4 steps

Expected:
- A way to quickly add a name to the New group via context click

Actual:
- several steps via tabcandy view to do this
Component: Tabbed Browser → TabCandy
QA Contact: tabbed.browser → tabcandy
Would it make sense for the "Move this tab to..." > "Create new group" create a new group which copies the title of the tab you put there?
OS: Mac OS X → All
Hardware: x86 → All
Punting to the future. This may be a good place for an add-on to help.

Panorama has been removed from Firefox 45, currently in Beta and scheduled for release on March 7th. As such, I'm closing all existing Panorama bugs.

If you are still using Panorama, you will see a deprecation message in Firefox 44, and when 45 is released your tab group data will be migrated to bookmarks, with a folder for each group. There are also a few addons offering similar functionality.

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups-removal for more info.

We're removing Panorama because it has extremely low usage (about 0.01% of users), and has a large number of bugs and usability issues. The cost of fixing all those issues is far too high to justify, and so we'll instead be focusing our time and energy on improving other parts of Firefox.
