Im guessing until HTML 5 drag and drop is supported, this bug needs to be fixed later. Right now, if you open a new browser window instance and create a tab, you cannot drag that tab into tabcandy view. But it does work in group view Repro: 1) install trunk Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b4pre) Gecko/20100816 Minefield/4.0b4pre 2) open a browser window in tabcandy view 3) CTRL-N to open a new browser window, and visit a URL 4) Verify you cannot drag that new tab into the other browser window with Tabcandy view. You can however do that if the other window is in group view Expected: - support tabs in new windows DnD to tabcandy view Actual: - cannot DnD to tabcandy view

Punting to the future. This would also be a good place for an add-on to step in.

We're not going to address this with Panorama being slated for removal.
