STEPS TO REPRODUCE http://www.semiconductor.agilent.com/news/success/motorola.html ACTUAL RESULTS Mobile phone image overlaps text. EXPECTED RESULTS Unsure. We need a testcase for this. cc'ing jrgm, since you are usually good at dissecting table bugs like this. ;-) This does not appear to be an incremental reflow bug; I cannot fix it using the usual font change / window size change voodoo. Tested on Windows 2000 Netscape Commercial build 2000-11-03-09-MN6.
Guessing that the culprit is Karnaze.

Whiteboard: need test case
It turns out to be a fairly simple two column table, with a floated image in one of the columns. That leads to the width for the column containing the image to be less than desired. However, if you resize the viewport, the columns achieve the necessary widths.
Summary: Inline image after <br> with explicit width does not give size to containing column (may be an overconstrained table) → two column, fixed-width table, with floated image; image column not wide enough
