In my case, it did not delete files at hotmail server and kept them there. Once in a month or in 2 weeks, it downloadas all 3000 messages again from Hotmail account, and even tho I have marked all messages read -state on folder. Now I want to delecte all the dubplicates because my foldetr is starting to be huge with 7 duplcicates alreay per message. Could you please hurry, and implement edit->Delete duplicates so that users could delete all the duplicates from email folder? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create account for hotomal 2.in reboots Thunderbird downloads all the messages again even thos the messages are in readed -state. 3. Actual Results: Have to manually delete all the duplicates which is fustruating. Expected Results: Delete allDuplicates from email folder
Something is corrupting your popstate.dat file. There is an extension that does what you want https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/search/?q=remove+duplicates&cat=all&lver=any&pid=1&sort=&pp=20&lup=&advanced=. We should try to figure out why your popstate.dat file get's corrupted.
