Titlebar is not only child window of Minefield but also another window application. Similar to Bug 573641, but not affected own window border and titlebar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Minefield with new profile + D2D + Window Classic Style 2. Popup menu (or Panel such as Edit Bookmarks) so that the popup overlapped titlebar of Cchild window of Minfield and/or the other application 3. Hide popup Actual Results: Repainting fails. Expected Results: Repainting should be performed properly.
Summary: [d2d + Win 7 Classic Style]Title bar if another window is not repainted properly, if menu popup/panel and titlebar overlapped each other → [d2d + Win 7 Classic Style]Titlebar of another window is not repainted properly, if menu popup/panel and titlebar overlapped each other
Any idea how we're supposed to paint that area, Jimm?
ugly... Border of top of Minefield is also affected. Border of right and left will be affected, too.
OK, It happens only after switching to Classic Style from Aero Style without logging out. I guess Minefield is hitting DWM bug.
WFM. IMHO, repainting in explorer is not our issue.
I'm still seeing this issue in current trunk build. And I didn't switch to Classic Style from Aero Style without logging out.
As far as I'm concerned, unless someone has a really good argument otherwise this is a Windows bug, not a firefox one.
I suffer from this issue, even if it is a windows bug, do you think that firefox should look like this on many people's machines? I'd rather have an about:config that works around it.
no longer available my windows7 PC
