Alps Film Pointing-device(SONY VAIO-PCG-V505) scroll gesture doesn't work in sidebar when textbox in the sidebar focused.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Minefield with new profile
2. Open Bookmarks sidebar or History (ensure number of item to scroll tree)
3. Maybe the textbox in the sidebar is focused by default
4. Try to scroll tree in the sidebar by Alps Film Pointing-device(SONY VAIO-PCG-V505) scroll gesture.
Actual Results:
Can not scroll

That bug just removed code that was no longer used. Well, that's all it was supposed to do. So it shouldn't have changed anything.
Bisecting to a particular changeset would be useful here...

I bet bug 579621 is what caused this. I think bug 589529 should fix this.

Not yet fixed on latest hourly
Now, scrolling does not work by wheel(drag scroll) completely.

The bug that is most likely to have caused this in this regression range is bug 579621. It removed a widget from the sidebar. Doing essentially the same thing for the sidebar that bug 130078 did for the content area.

I confirmed a strange phenomenon in the latest nightly Minefield.
It happens only on Minefield.
If mouse pointer is inside the red region(lower part and right part of the screen), then scroll works.

I used a laptop of Sony, but downloaded a driver for trial from the site of TOSHIBA.

Then, the problem seems to be fixed.
No longer blocks: 579258
