User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.1.2 I just updated my Thunderbird a few days ago. Now when I open Thunderbird it keeps opening the message pane in the lower part of the window even after I turn it off. It consistently does this. I have an Intel iMac using OS10.6.4. I checked the bug report and all reports of this problem are several months old. I did not have this problem before the most recent update. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Thunderbird 2.Deselect message pane in layout/message pane. 3.Close Thunderbird 4.Open Thunderbird again. 5.Message pane is reselected again. Expected Results: Message pane should stay off and not appear in my Thunderbird window.
