i use tb in german language, so i don't know the english menu-names.
when i choose not to show the ›nachrichtenbereich‹ and i close thunderbird the ›nachrichtenbereich‹ appears on restarting the program again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.disable ›nachrichtenbereich‹
2.close the Thunderbird-window
3.getting thunderbird by clicking dock-icon
Actual Results:  
the nachrichtenbereich is shown again

Expected Results:  
their should be only shown the list of emails
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
