Details
Some images are hidden after the page has completed loading (they are shown for
a short time), others simply flicker. Additionally, the CPU usage jumps to 100%.
This is on Linux Mozilla 20001109. Nearly all the images on the page are GIFs.
This bug seems very similar to bug 58935 however that is a Mac only bug and the
pages mentioned there work for me.
This looks like it might be related to 59644 as well, though
that one is described as dependent on NT platform.
Just for fun, I'll mark this one a dupe of 59544, change the
platform field to all.

Verified Duplicate, for kicks, it's fixed on linux build 2001081514
