Helping other users to add a new mail account in their existing tb profile it would be very helpful to have a function that is able to export a single account into a file, that can be sent to another user who then import it to his profile.

Background: we are moving from one provider to another with our own domain, so every mailbox user has to create a new mail account in tb with the servernames, ssl settings, username, password, etc. of the new providers mail service. Autoconfig isn't able to find out the right mailserver names, so the most non technical users aren't able to setup the new account without help.

By sending a file with all necessary things in it they could simply import it in tb and the new account is added in their existing profile.

Just wondering if this will include account data, or is the intent to simply use the export to create a new functional account in another profile via the new account wizard?

Generally, I am seeing users expecting to be able to sync the account data across profiles and devices, not export and import account settings.

Now profile per install is so big, the new demand is to merge profiles as folk not have more than one and want their old data back merged with the new stuff.

Let's focus on the actual account data here. To move a with settings, use export import of the profile and then delete any imported accounts you didn't care to transfer over.
