600755 - alt key and the alt lock key are not working correctly in text fields for fennec on the Droid 2

Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 599811

Description

1. go to the Control Panel -> Preference -> sync
2. click in the username field to set focus
3. hit the alt lock key
4. hit the keys in the top row

Expected: the alt version of the keys are displayed
Actual : the non alt of the keys are displayed

Note:
1. maybe the same issue as bug 599811
2. also occurs in content, go to : http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/formsninput.html and try steps 3 and 4 in a field.

Seeing the same issue on Motorola Droid running FRG22D. Neither the ALT nor the SHIFT keys are working.
