I use the three finger scroll gesture on OS X to get from the top to the bottom of a page or vice versa. It is really cool that we are finding other great uses for this gesture, but is there a configuration preference (even if in about:config) that will revert to the old behaviour?

Yes: - about:config - set browser.gesture.swipe.down to cmd_scrollBottom - set browser.gesture.swipe.up to cmd_scrollTop

If you want to be koo-koo crazy, you can change a lot of gesture behaviours to be optimized as per your preference. IT'S ALL UP TO YOU! :)
