Summary: Flash movie becomes intermittent I wave the mouse over the Flash content. → Flash movie becomes intermittent when I wave the mouse over the Flash content.
I also noticed that right-clicking the videos make their playback stop, but I have to hold the button in order to keep the flash menu.
This issue is more visible here:
http://readysetdance.yahoo.com/?vid=v218709918.
Video stops about 1 second when moving the cursor between the flash square and the other part of the page.

Indeed it does. karlt, can you take a look since Oleg is on vacation?

Some interesting behaviour with the link in comment 2:
Moving the mouse on non-plugin content has no effect.
(Same with attachment 480357 [details].)
Moving the mouse over an advert plugin causes the main video to pause, but only sometimes pauses the advert.
I haven't really reproduced in a debug build yet. Still to work out what's different in my debug build.

Is there a good reason that this blocks betaN? If not, it should be moved over to final+.

I actually just don't think this should block. No action on the bug since October, unlikely we're going to see a focused fix anytime soon.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0
Build ID: 20160502172042
I have tested your issue on latest FF release (46.0.1) and latest Nightly (20160512030253) but I was unable to reproduce it. I have installed Adobe Flash Player and navigated to different websites which have flash video content( http://www.dailymotion.com, http://www.trilulilu.ro, http://www.metacafe.com, http://www.liveleak.com).
I have also tried with the html page provided in the attachement( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=480357) but it worked properly.
Is this still reproducible on your end? If yes, can you please retest this using latest FF release and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).

I cannot reproduce the problem.
I am not able to reproduce the problem even if with the bad build in comment#0.(probably, Flash Player or Ubuntu14.04 fixed something)
