Typing about:cache in the location bar should give cache statics
and typing about:image-cache, about:memory-cache should give respectively the 
statstics of image cache and memory cache respectively, but mozilla is not 
showing any details.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.type about:cache in the location bar
2.type about:memory-cache in the location bar
3.type about:image-cache in the location bar

Actual Results:  nothing is displayed

Expected Results:  It should display the respective statstics of cache

With os/2 version about:cache works fine but not Image and Memory cache. on 
windows build even that is not working (on os2 bulid no phase1-1110.zip)

bug 21095 was about implementing about:cache.
It was verified fixed on Sept. 25th.
The build you reporting this bug is much older and thus did still not have the
feature.

about:cache displays both memory-cache and disk cache.

about:image-cache is not yet implemented.

yes I tested with M18 about:cache is working fine  these are my observations

1.Is there any way to find out what is the size of memory and disk cache. I feel 
by typing about:cache and about:memory-cache in previous versions of Netscape 
will give these details(In N6 about:cache) but am not convinced with the way it 
is  displaying in mozilla, it is not displaying the maximum size as it used to 
do in earlier versions of Netscape. Infact it is displaying maximum entries(what 
is this?).
2.whether Any other way is implemented in mozilla to get disk and memory cache 
size?

about:cache doesn't show any information interms of size of the cache(Either 
memory cache or Disk cache). Any changes to the cache size are not getting 
reflected any where in about:cache characteristics.

Worksforme 121304 mozilla win32 build on NT.  I see this:

Yes this way it works for me also.. , it is showing in terms of maximum entries 
in each case not interms of size. ok, fine, try to change the size of disk, 
memory cache and then type about:cache in the location bar. I think the new 
statstics are no way different from the previous results(Except when u have 
visited any site in between).. In this context how to ensure that the browser  
is following the changed cache size.

PS: Previous versions of Netscape confirms this by showing each time we type 
about:cache, exact size of the disk cache we set.
