bug 21095 (about implementing about:cache) mentions that about:image-cache
should also be implemented. It was not considered a part of that bug.
The issue rose again in bug 60291, where reporter is missing this particular
feature. Filing this as a spinoff, since 60291 was a little outdated and focused
on now implemented features.

Pav, let me know if you want this implemented.  ImgLib cache entries are now 
displayed by about:cache?device=memory (along with other memory cache entries), 
so it may not be necessary anymore.  If you need to have an about: module that 
shows just the ImgLib entries, we could add an additional filter.  Maybe:

about:cache?client=ImgLib

There seems to be no way to see the memory usage of the image cache in Firefox 3.1 beta 2. This is a useful figure to see, so I'm nominating as wanted1.9.1.

No, that was for the memory-reporter. This will show what's inside the cache, like about:cache.

Do we still want to implement about:image-cache?

Please also consider making it a mentored bug by putting mentor=yourself in the whiteboard and posting here a detailed descriptions of what needs to be done, which files need to be modified etc.
