I think we should flatten our tabs some because right now they sort of buckle up off the otherwise mostly flat aero glass world of Windows 7. It looks great on XP but doesn't fit in as well on 7. Also, the tab strip is a super short toolbar compared to most other Win7 toolbras (including our other toolbars) yet tabs are a really heavily used. I propose we make them somewhat taller but not quite as tall as IE7's. Flatter, taller, glassier.

I was pretty sure you filed something like this before, Asa, or maybe just wrote Stephen an email, and he said that it wasn't going to be changed at this point.
Stephen: can you confirm? You should feel free to resolve this as WONTFIX, or if you think we should do it sometime after Firefox 4, mark it as future and perhaps remove it from blocking bug 544820

This is something I plan to revisit post-Firefox 4 so setting to future.
No longer blocks: 544820
Target Milestone: --- → Future

(The "Future" target milestone tends to never be reset even if the originally intended milestone is reached or passed. No milestone at all is less confusing.)
Target Milestone: Future → ---
