If I could, it would be accurate. I can't search for active logins, site preferences, cookies, memorized fields in search and memorized fields in pages. If I could, it would be complete. Let me search, see and select items from all my history. Accurate and complete. Reproducible: Always
I believe the UX team has plans for this?
Component: Private Browsing → General

>I can't search for active logins, site preferences, cookies, memorized fields >in search and memorized fields in pages. If I could, it would be complete. A lot of these things happen implicitly. From the user's perspective they just visited a number of different Web pages. So while I agree that we should ideally be clearing these type of information as well when the user deletes a specific range of history (assuming that they were recorded during that time period), I don't think we'll want to directly surface them in the UI in the same way that we display pages that the user went to.
Rewording... I wish I could select two items in history and delete everything recorded between that time period.
Including downloads made, cookies, memorized fields in search, memorized fields in pages, site preferences and active logins. Everything!
The other items, the ones that were not recorded between that time period, should not be deleted.
When are you going to make this feature?
people! people! people! History -> Clear Date Range... Mark embarrassing browsing start. (user marks it) Mark embarrassing browsing end. (user marks it) (Firefox marks everything between start and end) Delete marked history including cookies, site preferences etc? yes | no
Version: unspecified → 3.6 Branch
There is an add-on called Mass Forget which solved this problem.
Please, delete this bug report, because it's a dupe of something that I wrote and the other complaint was better at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=633782
