Dragging a tab group to the right(1 & 2), I was able to knock another tab group out of sight on the right side(3). Dragging the tab group I was moving (the larger one in the screenshot compound I'm attaching) once more to the right brought the "disappeared" tab group back into being underneath and visible again (4).
Seems to me that if it's possible for a tab group to come back and stay in sight, that this should be the default behaviour when a tab group gets pushed to the edge. If it was to disappear without a user noticing, or even with them noticing, they might not happen upon the way to bring it back as I did.
