When browsing with many tabs open the problem appears when closing tabs. Normally the tab to the right of the closed tab opens but sometimes the tab 2 over from the closed tab will be opened. After that happens it switches back to the tab that should of been opened.
This happens occasionally when I'm browsing sites where I open lots of tabs and can be quite annoying. The time the incorrect tab is shown varies it seems but I can usually start reading the page then it switches to the tab that should of loaded.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a few tabs
2. Close a tab starting from the left most
3.
Actual Results:
Nothing happened during my test.

This happens mostly while browsing Engadget.com. Also waiting and scrolling through the page before closing made it more likely to happen after closing the tab.

Does it also appear in Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe Mode)? How do you open the tabs? Can you please give exact steps which could be used to reproduce your given issue?

Yes it appears in safe mode.
Type in engadget.com
open a few articles by middle clicking on their title
close engdaget.com tab
scroll up/down article's page a little, then close with the X on the tab
every time I did that it flashed content from the tab to the right of the one that was switched to
Also I tried the FF4 beta and that did not happen

Thanks for your feedback. Given that this is not a security bug and that it is fixed for Firefox 4.0, I would tend to close this bug as WFM.
Dao, do you agree or do you know which bug fixed that particular issue?
