609285 - Problems previewing an attached image from hotmail.com due to Silverlight plugin malfunctions

Even if Silverlight plugin appears as installed in about:plugins, I cannot preview an image attached to a mail in hotmail.com (which uses Silverlight to preview images). 
If I try to resize the FF window after exiting form preview mode, I get an error in Error Console.
Also, being in picture preview mode, window freezes on right click mouse event.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Error Console
2.Go to http://www.hotmail.com
3.Open a mail containing an image in its attachment
4 [review].Click on the image to preview it (don't download it)
5.Hit ESC
6.Resize the FF frame and pay attention to the Error Console.
7.Click again on the image to preview it and right click on the file preview
8.Hit ESC again
Actual Results:  
In Step 3, the image is not loaded in the preview mode.
In Step 6, cannot exit the preview mode.


Expected Results:  
In Step 3, the image should be loaded in the preview mode.
In Step 6, you should be able to exit the preview mode.

When I want to create a new mail, I get a some errors in Error Console. Also, I cannot attach anything to a new mail.

I've uploaded a screenshot of the error console for this part.

I was able to reproduce the problem using Silverlight 4.0.50524.0.

I'm nominating this for blocking because previewing a picture from an attachment gives you a blank box, and in the situation described in comment #0 you are no longer able to ESC or interact with the page, except by clicking on the Back button.

Josh, this sounds like a blocker to me, but feel free to change that if you disagree.

Silverlight 4 will show up as a possibly usable plugin in 64-bit Mac OS X builds on Mac OS X 10.6 but it will fail to load because it negotiates Carbon NPAPI at run time. Nobody here has mentioned that they had Silverlight working in any other way, duping this against bug 598406. We're working on a solution to this.
