Expected Results:
The Tabbar with 1 or more AppTabs(pinned tabs) should be seen in the "Tabs on Top" postion.
Version: unspecified → Trunk

It seems that the patch in bug 582950 wasn't quite complete -- we may need to call _positionPinnedTabs more often or set the dontpin attribute elsewhere or something.

Confirming on Win 7 using the latest nightly. In my case I did not have to restart the browser, but I removed the new tab button as well.

A Duplicate Bug 618505 - Closing last non-pinned tab causes tab bar to collapse
This bug has the regressionwindow-wanted keyword, but I've only been able to go as far back as the point at which the "pin as app tab" context menu was added, since the only error console command I can find to manually pin the tabs [top.opener.gBrowser.pinTab(top.opener.gBrowser.tabContainer.lastChild)] doesn't work.

Therefore first known bad nightly=2010-07-06 (the point at which context menu was added and I can actually perform the STR)
Last good nightly: Unknown (presume it may even be the case that apptabs has always had this issue)

am experiencing a similar thing in linux, where the tab next to the pinned tabs appears _behind_ the pinned tabs (and _not_, as it should, _next_ to them...
