btw this exist even in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101027 Thunderbird/3.1.6

Nikolay this might be a dup in either Thunderbird/security or Core/PSM can you look for it ?

There no such option anymore on Linux (60.7.2) at least in preference, only one in account settings->security->manage certificates (but it little bit different) and no its not truncated
