Device: Samsung Galaxy S captivated, Motorola Droid 2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tap in the awesome bar and type any URL you want (e.g.: www.bugzilla.mozilla.org) 2. Tap the "Delete" button from the VKB or HWKB(if there is one). Actual Results: The whole URL is erased. Expected Results: Only the last character ("g") should be erased.
Note: I made sure that the URL is not highlighted.

I'm seeing different but still wrong behavior. When I try to delete a character at the end of the URL, a character from the middle of the URL is deleted instead.

closing bug 614298, and noting here that this behavior also exists in the text fields on the sync fallback screen.

Erasing the whole field was fixed by bug 614223. The remaining problems in comment 2 will be fixed by bug 614293.

After fixing bug 614223, I cannot erase any field in about:config (this is a reproducible issue). Sometimes, it happens in the URL bar too, but I don't have STR. Build ID: Mozilla /5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101124 Firefox/4.0b8pre Fennec /4.0b3pre Device: HTC Desire
