See screenshot. reported by waverley Repro: * changed device's localization (to French for example) * installed the build located at: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/candidates/4.0b3-candidates/build1/maemo5-gtk/fr/ See attached screenshot with what I get when starting Fennec. If I install the multi language build, I get the right behavior (Fennec starts and strings are properly localized).

Switching a multi-locale build to french works though.

so this sounds more like a fr build issue? looping in releng
This reproducible with: fi and de builds as well. Changing summary.
