Thunderbird crashes while loading messages, very shortly after entering the master password for the mailboxes.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Thunderbird 3.1.7
2. Enter master password
3. Thunderbird crashes within seconds
Actual Results:
immediate crash
Expected Results:
normal operation
This started when I upgraded to 3.1.7, but has never occurred before. It didn't happen immediately after the upgrade, but since it started I have been unable to load it up. I downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled, but it didn't fix it.

Did you submit the crash report ?
Does starting in -safe-mode helps (http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode)?
