What search providers did you have? Have you tried re-adding them?

Henrik: please don't conflate similar-sounding issues until we have evidence they have the same root cause... Nordware, presumably restarting doesn't help? Can you attach your search.sqlite here, or send it to me directly? It contains a list of which search engines you have installed and their keywords and other metadata, but nothing that should be sensitive.

Nordware: could you follow the steps in bug 620672 comment 23? This might be a duplicate of that bug, it'd be good to confirm.

Given that this issue has happened with a beta release and feedback installed, I would still assume it is a dupe of bug 593694. We haven't seen any other complains.
