At the first:
Sorry, my English isn't the best. Please apologize it.

The Problem:
Each 6th or 7th time I get a request to install "java console 6.0.02".
After restart FF removes this console, because It "is not longer supported".

What is to do to fix (eliminate) this additional "provision of work"?

Reproducible: Sometimes
Flags: in-testsuite?
You really really need to update your java. You need to have java 6 update 10 or later to use it with Firefox. Please uninstall every version of java you have, then go to Java.com and download and install the latest version (6 update 23 I believe)

This has also cropped up here: Bug 575004

Whilst I know the version of java is out of date, surely Firefox should be disabling the extension permanently and not continually re-asking?
Reopening as this was supposed to be fixed as part of bug 533559 surely?

CC'ing Nick, who was assigned to bug 533559, if he has any input.
Many thanks for Your help. The solution was the installation of java 6.23.
Sorry for delay. I had to wait, what FF would do after the bug-fixing.
Think this is still worth following up, seeing as having to manually reinstall a newer version of Java was not the intended behaviour of bug 533559.
(Sorry spam)
To clarify the above: ...having to manually reinstall a newer version of Java *to prevent the warning coming up multiple times* was not the intended...

(Note I realise old Java versions are bad, but if there are issues with the old plugin versions, then that need to be dealt with separately/via blocklisting)
Mass-closing old Extension Compatibility bugs that relate to legacy add-ons or NPAPI plug-ins. If you think this bug is still valid, please reopen or comment.

Sorry for the bug spam, and happy Friday!
