Very annoying that Mobile Firefox showing checkerboard (white/non-rendered area) for every not super fast pan event. Tested URL on different devices different browsers. Fennec: White area visible always on GalaxyTab, Maemo Portrait/Landscape mode, every single scroll motion does kinetic scrolling with bunch of white area Opera: On Galaxy tab in portrait mode able to scroll almost whole page in portrait mode without checkerboard. Android Browser: render in runtime, On galaxy tab slow but no checkerboard... (same with normal firefox) iPhone Browser: kinetic motion is not super long, but no checkerboard visible for single scroll motion in portrait and in landscape mode. Microb N900: Able to scroll URL in portrait and landscape mode without white area visible. I think we should do something for fixing this problem before shipping first fennec version...
I think this might be a dup.

(In reply to comment #3) > TC https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=12200 fails due to this bug. I don't see how this bug impacts that test case. Can you explain?

Can you explain? For every second refresh on the bottom of the page there will be persistent checkerboards and I think that the page about offline storage should be displayed correctly.

Cristian and Oleg, is this bug still happening on latest code after Ben's latest patches?
(In reply to Lucas Rocha from comment #8) > Cristian and Oleg, is this bug still happening on latest code after Ben's > latest patches? If I will refresh the planet.mozilla.org, a persistent checkerboard bar is displayed on the left side of the webpage. Also If I scroll up/down a little bit quicker than usual, the checkerboards will cover the entire display for 0,5s - 1s. I have the same result after I've performed a double touch scrolling action. If the webpage is zoomed in, when a zoom out action will be performed, the page is circled by the checkerboards for 0,5s - 1s. However, this works better then previous versions of Fennec imo. -- Build id : Mozilla/5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:9.0a1)Gecko/20110901 Firefox/9.0a1 Fennec/9.0a1 Device: Samsung Galaxy S OS: Android 2.2
Happens sometimes in planet.mozilla.org, but much less noticeable and fewer times. Build id : Mozilla/5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:9.0a2)Gecko/20111107 Firefox/9.0a2 Fennec/9.0a2 Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 OS: Android 3.1
