Second character typed in after pressing fn/alt is not correct in the URL bar and in the search field from about:config

Device: Motorola Droid 2 (Android 2.2)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have the hard ware keyboard open
2. Launch fennec
3. Tap on the URL bar and write about:config (for the ":" character you have to press ALT key once and let go of the key)

press a button that should give you a number

Actual Results:
The actual result is as if the ALT key is pressed after the ":" character too, so the user inputs the text: "about:_onfig"

Expected Results:
One should be able to input the text "about:config" without any problems.

This is reproducible only for characters, for digits not.

I can't reproduce this on my G2 and I don't have a Droid 2 to try with...
I can reproduce this on the Droid II: I get about:%ennec as a result in Step 3
I can't reproduce this on my Samsung Epic

This works for me on a Droid 2 with http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/ea41c727079b and fails on tip, so there's at least a regression range (albeit not a very small one).
Would be great to get a narrower range on this from someone in QA with a Droid 2
Anna, can you hunt down a regression range? We'll also try ourselves on a droid 2 in-house.
For what it's worth, unable to reproduce on the Droid 1 (Milestone).
The build on which this first reproduces is: Mozilla /5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:2.0b9pre)Gecko/20110107 Firefox/4.0b9pre Fennec /4.0b4pre
Sounds like a regression from bug 617552.

Can we check this again, following the landing of bug 618352?
I'm probably a terrible owner for this bug, unless someone can send me a Droid 2.

Anna, please try to reproduce again following this comment. thanks
Fixed by bug 618352, based on comment 13, unless someone else can reproduce.

Thanks for the quick reply, Tim.
