User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; hu-HU; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20110103 Fedora/3.6.13-1.fc14 Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101209 Fedora/3.1.7-0.35.b3pre.fc14 Lightning/1.0b3pre Thunderbird/3.1.7 It looks like to me, that only the Global INBOX folder has this "feature". I have multiple accounts (POP3) set up, and they all are using the same INBOX folder, though there are filters to sort them to different folders in the ending (so this way I don't have sent folders for every account). But if I enable the threading in the INBOX folder, then my mailing threads will be always expanded, even if I collapse them, I just have to navigate away and back, and they're expanded again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I didn't tried this with a fresh install (I carry my folder files since ~2.0) 1. Create multiple POP3 accounts 2. Configure all of them to use the Global folders 3. restart TB, so the changes gets applied 4. Enable thread-view in INBOX Actual Results: Now all of the threads should be always expanded in INBOX folder. Expected Results: Only the last thread is expanded, like everywhere else.
Does this also shows up in -safe-mode (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) ?
Yes.
Major Péter are you still seeing this in version 10?

I've just installed a 10.0.1 on my Kubuntu, and I'm still seeing this issue (in the repo there is only 9 yet, but I see the bug with that too). Is there any debug step I can take, so you would have more info on why is this happening?

David would having msf files help debug this one ?
Major Péter, if you add a column or remove a column from the message list pane, are your changes still there when you restart Thunderbird?
