Can not make bookmark by drag & drop a link from list items,
with some combination of html tags and/or line breaking positions
in html source.

OS: Windows XP SP3, Linux (Ubuntu 10.10 on VirtualBox Guest VM)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open testcase #1
2. try to make bookmark by drag & drop any linked text from the
   test page to Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Sidebar or Library.

Actual Results:
  Links from pink-bg-colored html source can not be dropped to make
  bookmark. For the present, those are
    type 4-2, 6-2, 7-2, 7-3, 7-4, 9-4 and 10-2.
      note: type 2 is the different case which includes the br in
           linked text, mentioned in Bug 613923 .
  Error Console shows two kind of messages while dragging linked
  text. Which will be shown is depend on where the link is dragged to.
    Bookmarks Toolbar: message A
    Library: message B
    Bookmarks Sidebar: both

  message A:
    Error: dragged is undefined
    Source File: chrome://browser/content/places/controller.js
    Line: 1431
  message B:
    Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "'[
    JavaScript Error: "dragged is undefined" {
      file: "chrome://browser/content/places/controller.js"
      line: 1431}]'
      when calling method: [nsITreeView::canDrop]"

      location: "JS frame :: chrome://browser/content/places/tree.xml :: onxbldragover :: line 731"
      data: yes]

Expected Results:
  Any of links should be dropped and bookmarked.

I have tested this issue on the latest Firefox (47.0) and the latest Nightly (50.0a1) build, but I could not reproduce it. The links from the provided test case can be dropped on the "Bookmarks Toolbar" or in Bookmark Library, and will be bookmarked.

Chado, is this still reproducible on your end ? If yes, can you please retest this using latest Firefox release and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).
