default items of the lists are not visible but replaced by dots "...", you need to click on the dropdown menu to discover what they are

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Goto Edit > Preferences > Content
2. The Size dropdown is "..." as default
3. Click on the Advanced... button and open the Font dialog
4. 2 other Size dropdown menus and one "minimum font size" are "..." too
Actual Results:  
Default values are not immediately visible

Expected Results:  
Default values should be visible without clicking

* Note that I have no such visual inconvenience on 3.6.13
