Attached file personalization copy - v1 (obsolete) —
Hey Lee. This is the official bug to design the new personalization page. Quite a bit is changing here...let's discuss offline before you start. Draft copy (not final, but close enough to begin design) is attached.

Attached file personalization copy - v2 (obsolete) —
Hey Sean. Attached is the almost-final copy for the personalization page. Like the performance page, this should follow the style of the other product pages (blue icons, etc) and also inherit your new header changes. I've added some notes on the visuals for each content section, but am happy to discuss more if you'd like. Thanks!

Hey all, Here is the latest Pesonalization page. It'd be awesome if we could get the other pages to look like this visually when it comes to amount of content. I fear some of the pages (esp. the Features Page) will be tl;dr when it comes to content saturation. The space given to the sections on this page should help the visitor digest the information. - some images for placement only - new page section seperators - sections spaced out to give content a little more room to breath
Thanks Sean. The page looks great to me. PMMs, please review *today* and let us know your feedback so we can get a final version to webdev asap. Some notes: - icons at the top are FPO - Sean, in the personas section, what is that 2nd persona behind the main one? I'm assuming only one would update with the rollover...looks a slightly confusing to me. - only concern about the plugins graphic is that it looks like the interface itself...I want to click on those buttons.
- the stack of personas is just a graphic, it doesn't update. they don't update in page on the current site. I'll see if I can come up with something less confusing. - yeah, agreed for Plugins. I think we should have a screenshot of the listing in the addons pane in the browser since it is new. I don't think it is finalized yet, so didn't crop in a screen grab.
I apologize if I didn't catch this earlier, but Customize: Extensions should be Customize: Add-ons alhtough we should still mention extensions in the description (as they are called extensions in the add-ons manager) In addition, John, would you be able to help us revise the first line as well.. Extensions are little pieces of "software"... When I was gathering feedback, I think the first line didn't resonate as well? Any recommendations?
How about: "Add-ons/extensions are little extras you download to add more bells and whistles to Firefox." If we're saying "Customize: Add-ons" in the title, shouldn't we use "add-ons" in the first sentence? Just wanted to confirm...am a little confused as to how we're breaking this down now.
I think the wording is correct as is. Extensions, Personas, Plugins, etc all fall under the umbrella of Add-ons in the Add-ons pane.
There was a long back and forth as to whether we were going to label this extensions or add-ons. In the product, specifically the Add-ons Manager, the tab labels them extensions, however, they are still referred as add-ons in the copy, Such as the section "Featured Add-ons" and "Top Add-ons." They are also still referred as add-ons in the website: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured. Lastly, Mobile also uses the term 'mobile add-ons.' my point is that everywhere else, they are still called "Add-ons" and not extensions except for the tab in the add-ons manager. After many discussions over this, we concluded that we use Add-ons as the headline for the section (to keep consistency) and in the short description below it introduce and establish that they are extensions and hopefully making add-ons and extensions as interchangeable terms. On that note, we also need to change the copy on the upper right corner from: "Get Extensions on your Mobile Device" to "Get Add-ons on your Mobile Device"

Hey Sean. Attached is a new copy doc for this page - changes indicated in red. There are a few small things, and the only visual change of significance is that we need to include three add-ons in the starter pack section rather than one like you have now (the other tabs within that area can follow your current model). The good news is we have a visual precedent for you to follow, so it should be pretty easy. More details in the copy doc!

Posting on behalf of Sean, here's the latest & greatest mockup. PMMs, please review and give us the sign-off or additional revisions as soon as you can (ideally today): http://mozilla.seanmartell.com/engagement/mocodotcom/customize_02.jpg Thanks!
Design is approved from me. Dan
Thanks Dan. Mayumi, Grace - any further comments?
small copy question: "Many of the most popular add-ons are extensions, little extras you download to add more extra bells & whistles to Firefox." I think we have too many "extras" in one line? can we drop the 2nd extra? "Many of the most popular add-ons are extensions, little extras you download to add more bells & whistles to Firefox." ?
Yes, that's much better. Will update the doc when we hear from Mayumi.
- There should be a link in the mobile promo to a mobile add-ons page. - I thought we had 200,000+ personas? But then on the Personas page we say 35,000, please make it consistent - Grace, should we add a link to your "How to change your UI" video in the "Adapt your INterface" section - Now that the personalization page is not all about add-ons the subtitle doesn't seem quite right. So maybe something like "When it comes to browsing, one size doesn't fit all. Use add-ons and features such as Sync to customize Firefox pretty much any way you want."
Final copy updates attached per comment #14 and comment #16 (changes indicated in red). Sean, please make these final very small tweaks and then post the PSD so we can turn this one over to webdev. Thanks!
