We'll need to make some updates to the personalization page for Fx4. The design isn't complete yet (see bug 626670 for details), but I wanted to go ahead and get this in the queue. Marking as release 1.4, which is currently the one slated for Fx4 content (although that's subject to change).

This page is mostly ready. The remaining elements are: - Customize Add-ons section (needs work from us and we need the final list of addons to be featured - when can we expect that?) - Personas updated - are the personas in the mockup the final ones that should be included in this page? - icons (Bug 635096) - screenshots (Bug 631626)

Thanks Steven. I'm seeing both horizontal and vertical scrollbars in the personas section. Can we eliminate those? I'm fine with cutting the persona swatches down to 6 if that helps. Other follow-ups: - copy & content details for the various add-ons to be featured are posted in the doc at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=626670#c17 - I'm don't think those should be the final personas, no. Deb, can you comment on what the actual mix should be? - one other dependency is the sync video (Bug 635100)
There's an embeddable widget that is currently used to pull personas into mozilla.com: http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/external/mozilla/ Could you just keep using that?

Fixed the scrollbars and added a placeholder video so it'll be easier to drop in the final video when it's ready (r83951). We are using the widget that Deb mentions in comment #7 for the Persona previews. Now we just need to add the Add-ons content and the final video.

Ok, the add-ons content is in place as of r83976. The mockup showed a different number of promos per section, so we took some liberties with the layout/style of this section during implementation. This leaves video/screenshots only - which both have separate bugs.

Is there a SUMO page you had in mind? hi guys. i've consulted with sumo, to see if they have an article. the link I provided above is not a fit to this feature. i still think we should link to somewhere where we provide directions on how to customize the interface, but not sure if it can be ready by 3/14. can we take out the link for now and will look into getting a link here and add it for a later update?

Hey Steven: was the Persona Preview issue outlined in dependent Bug 619105 solved with your latest batch of changes?

The symptom of the mismatched image preview and actual persona has been temporarily fixed by the talented dria here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=619105#c8 The source of the problem must still be fixed (on the add-ons end, not on mozilla.com). From what I understand, Bug 640919 is the related issue of the various preview screenshots just being out-of-date due to the UI changes in Firefox 4 - which is still out-standing.

Just FYI, the screenshot in the Featured Personas widget is going to change -- we had to update it from the old fx3.6 version to a new shiny fx4 version. Related bug is here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=640919 The Persona we used was chosen by Mister Martell: https://bug640919.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=518683 This should be included in the getpersonas.com update tomorrow (thursday).
