When successively clicking some links in the disco pane (such as featured addons) before one of it has loaded, the pane switches to display the 'What are addons?' stub. The last clicked link eventually loads and gets displayed again, but depending on the quality of connection displaying of the stub leads either to flicker or, on less than ideal connection, to a hardly expected 'black out'.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Quickly click any target=_self links in the disco pane 2 or more times.
Is this related to bug 630120?
Component: Discovery Pane → Add-ons Manager
Product: addons.mozilla.org → Toolkit
QA Contact: discoverypane → add-ons.manager
It's likely that clicking link while another link is loading makes the request for the first link get cancelled with some kind of error and the code in bug 601143 just displays the error page for any kind of error. If we can detect that it is just user cancelled then we ought to be able to stop this happening.
