Jens, any chance you can tackle this?
I'm on it.

I think you should add bug 626096 to the known issues. I talked to KaiRo about this yesterday, and he suggested adding that to the release notes.

That bug points at bug 622542 which landed today. I think we should wait and see whether the final b2 Mac build still has the issue and then decide.
While we're at it we should also add bug 630270 (DNT UI) to the two features lists (index, changes). Already added it to the 2.1 Features page.
Depends on: 632866

Done.

I think KaiRo asked whether we can also add some of the Firefox/platform changes. AFAICS SM2.1b1 was based on some 2.0b7 Gecko version which should roughly match FF 4b7. Here's a collection of the FF4b7-b11 relnotes modulo SM2.1b1 and current SM2.1b2 relnotes and things that don't apply to us:

FF4b7
* WebGL is enabled by default on Windows and Mac OS X. WebGL support requires an OpenGL-capable graphics card. Support for other graphics cards on Windows (specifically Intel GPUs) and Linux will be coming in a future beta
* Certain rendering operations are now hardware-accelerated using Direct3D 9 on Windows XP, Direct3D 10 on Windows Vista and 7, and OpenGL on Mac OS X
* Improved web typography using OpenType with support for ligatures, kerning and font variants
* HTML5 Forms API makes web based forms easier to implement and validate
FF4b8
* Speed, functionality, and compatibility improvements to WebGL
* Additional polish for the Firefox Add-ons Manager
FF4b9
* Overhaul of the bookmarks and history code, enabling faster bookmarking and startup performance
* Per-compartment garbage collection is now enabled, reducing work done during complex animations
FF4b10
* Compatibility and stability improvements when using Adobe Flash on Mac OS X
* Improvements in memory usage
* Support for a graphics driver blacklist to improve stability
FF4b11
* WebGL has been re-enabled on Linux

-> Summary:
* WebGL and D3D are now enabled where supported (cf. about:support)
* Improved OpenType support
* HTML5 Forms API support
* Various Add-on Manager improvements
* Faster bookmarking and startup performance
* Flash on Mac OS X improvements
* Memory usage improvements

Those of the above that are truly noteworthy should be added to the b2 feature lists (Features:2.1 page, b2 relnotes index + changes). Opinions?
Jens, thanks a ton for collecting those, and yes, please add them, from a quick glance, they look good to me! :)
Done.
