From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.72 [en] (X11; I; Linux 2.2.14 i686)
BuildID: 2000121606
Clicking on View image permissions crashes browser
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start mozilla
2. Go into Edit|Preferences
3. Select Advanced
4. Select Images
5. Click on "View Image Permissions"
Actual Results: Browser crashes
Expected Results: Should display Cookie & Image Permissions dialog
I can reproduce this with both a current nightly (build-ID: 2000121606) as well
as with a build pulled on 18-Dec-2000 at 1:10 AM.
Also, View Stored Cookies gives the same result.
PS: I'm entering this bug with Communicator 4.72, because with mozilla I
currently can't use http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi. Half the page
seems to be missing, and Items are placed on top of each other. I will file a
separate bug on this.

not pick it up. Confirming, over to Component:cookies.

Can you reproduce this with a new profile -- i.e., one that does not contain any
stored image sites? If not, then there might be something specific to your
cookperm.txt file and/or cookies.txt file. And if that's the case, then I'm
going to need those files in order to debug this.
It also might be that this is a consequence of bug 62057. That bug report
doesn't mention a crash, although since it involves buffer overrun there is a
possibility that it could crash depending on the contents of your cookperm.txt
file.

Netscape Nav triage team: this is not a Netscape beta stopper.
Keywords: nsbeta1-

The console output attachment has BadAlloc/BadDrawable at the end.
Therefore bug 40931 "BadAlloc/BadDrawable crashes Mozilla" is relevant.

I am seeing this too.
Platform: PC
OS: Linux 2.2.16 RedHat
Mozilla Build: 2000122208 M18 Trunk Build
I get this with my old profile *AND* a new one. This is really a big problem.

Just realized that this bug applies to cookie permissions as well as image
permissions. Revising summary line to indicate this. Also removing the minus
from nsbeta1- to get this reconsidered (the reason it was given the minus is
because it was thought to be an image-permission problem and image permissions
are not part of the netscape release).

I am not able to reproduce this using the latest linux build. Can someone
please confirm that it is still a problem before I close it out as works-for-me.

It's been a week since I asked the question above and nobody has replied that
they still see the problem.
Therefore closing this out as works-for-me.
