User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b11) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b11) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b11 Geolocation permission popup disappears when browser loses focus. The icon to the left of the location bar remains, and you can get the popup back by clicking it, but it's not clear. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) http://html5demos.com/geo 2) Command-tab (or change to another space or click on another window) 3) The geolocation doorhanger notification has disappeared Actual Results: Sometimes it doesn't disappear if you click on another application window that doesn't cover Firefox. Sometimes it does. Expected Results: The popup should remain visible until I select an option or dismiss it by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner. Possibly related to bug 589968 ?

This is intentional. These notifications are meant to be easy to dismiss - e.g. by just clicking away (or switching windows). You can re-open the popup by clicking its "anchor icon" in the URL bar.
