I realized that my Calendar Server was crashing when saving an event with a double quote in it. i.e. DESCRIPTION:This is a test\" I reported this at http://trac.calendarserver.org/ticket/419 as I thought it would be an issue there. But by now I have the information that Cyrus Daboo states that \" is just not supposed to be there. Therefore I think this has to be fixed on the Lightning, libical side. Any comments?

What version of Lightning do you use? Could you provide a testcase that can be used to reproduce your issue?
