Starting in Safe Mode with one blank tab and one tab on about:memory you get one memory reading, after leaving it for approximately 70 minutes, reloading about:memory you get a vastly increased usage of memory.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox in Safe Mode
2. Load about:memory
3. Do Nothing
Actual Results:  
Firefox consumes ever increasing amounts of memory

Expected Results:  
Firefox doesn't eat all of your memory

I have  tried to reproduce  this issue on  Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b13pre) Gecko/20110225 Firefox/4.0b13pre   (Safe Mode)

This sounds a lot like bug 650649 -- SQLite memory usage is increasing -- but the rate of increase seems higher.

In the original test I used safe mode but I didn't go through an disable all of the plugins as well.

Once going through and doing that, there's still an increase, just not as severe.

Yeah, this is definitely the same as bug 650649, it's all the url-classifier.  Thanks for the measurements Brent, I'll mark this as a duplicate and transfer the measurements over to bug 650649.
