it seems like it might be useful to offer a leftnav "Change your Sync key", which directs users to the FAQ/SUMO pages relevant to doing so.
i think this would help users who are having trouble setting up a new device and want to reset their sync key, just like they would reset a password. however this also carries a low risk of data loss, and would require the same warnings as "clear my sync data".

hmm, we're not currently set up for external linking. I can think of a couple ways to do that if we want to, though.
